The Empire of Zukariaa is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by Emperor Conrad II with an iron fist, and notable for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 8.621 billion are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, corrupt, pro-business individuals is effectively ruled by the Department of Defence, with areas such as the Environment and Social Equality receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Aiur. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 5%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Uranium Mining, and Gambling industries.

Nerds everywhere are rejoicing as they are reunited with their computers, military spending recently hit a new high, Zukariaa has designated Aiur as its capital city, and Emperor Conrad II has been self-declared as the Most Supreme Magnificent Overlord of Everything You Ever Saw. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Zukariaa's national animal is the ShrimpCricket, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Emperorsmark.
